Completion of references & accepted by the Landlord. Great news you have passed and you will required to pay your deposit and your rent (minus the one week payment you have already made). How much tenancy deposit is required? Your tenancy deposit will be the equivalent of a maximum of five weeks’ rent , this would vary on the individual property as some will be 4 weeks rent or less.
For example, for a property with a rent of £800.00 per month your tenancy deposit will be £923.08 (£800.00 x 12 months ÷ 52 weeks x 5 weeks = £923.08)
